JOEY FREE

Joey has been expressing his artistic interests with markers and crayons since he was a young boy but did not choose to make it a career until 2016. Although best known for his acrylic paintings on canvases and on skateboards, his work includes everything from Oils, Watercolors, Pen & Ink drawings, Collages, Photography, Spoken Word/Poetry to Hip-Hop & Graffiti.

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Sole Rebel has been on tour since she was in the womb & was handed a paintbrush when she stepped out. Daughter of folklore Painter Amancio Gonzalez and writer Dr. Luz Quiero, she grew up in the Bronx, Harlem & reps Washington Heights.

Eddy Bogaert is a mixed media painter who draws inspiration from nightlife & pop-culture. His paintings are interactive & have discreet subliminal messages, which can only be seen under black light. Eddy is of Belgian & Dominican descent. Living in New York, he has always been surrounded by diversity, culture & experienced life in different countries. He draws inspiration from high fashion, street art & the glamour of city nightlife.

ROGER RIDLEY

While growing up in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx, Ridley developed a unique style of painting incorporating both contemporary & traditional techniques using various mediums such as vintage newspaper/magazine clippings, album jackets, molten wax, gold leaf and spray paint.

MICHELLE BECKETTEAU

In 2013, Michelle implemented a commercial product launch which enabled her to work on her passions of visual arts, street art, urban contemporary movements, digital art, drawing, photography & sculpting. Her illustrations & drawings were first published at 19 in the Telegraph-Journal, a New Brunswick publication. She’s collaborated with over 90 retail stores across Canada & has developed highly regarded advertising content.

CORBELLIC

Corbellic’s art style is also influenced by the popular culture & current events by using acrylic, spray paint, oil sticks & resin. Although he had never been formally educated in the technique of Fine Art, he had day-dreamed of colors and shapes since birth which navigates his bold choices.

BOBBY HILL

Bobby is an African-American Brooklyn-based artist that combines a blend of pop imagery, raw graffiti & expressionist elements. Bobby Hill’s career started as an illustrator, but it wasn’t until he researched Andy Warhol that he became interested in screen-printing as an art. In early 2001, his first editorial illustration appeared in “Slam” magazine. A few months later, Bobby was picked out of several artists to create original works of art for Coca-Cola.

RIZ ROBINSON

Starting at 6 years old as the youngest African-American graffiti artist in the Tats Crew of Harlem. As a student of Van Gogh's style of expressionism, Van Gogh has been a great inspiration for him. Riz’s art is common to see throughout the city in galleries and businesses especially on and around Essex Street on the Lower East Side.

L. MYLOTT MANNING

L. Mylott Manning studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts, from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Manning has also studied at Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art in France.

Sir Shadow, a legendary African-American artist, and Bowery resident. His ability to express love, music, poetry & to create art through one line, creating shapes and forms that dance, sing & swing with Jazz music that it depicts is sheer genius.

MARCY BRAFMAN

The paintings of Marcy Brafman can be considered empathic gestures. They deal with situations that are inherently symbolic, sometimes taking on the symbol as an icon, & sometimes mining it for its humanistic traits mired in a narrative that exists outside of fine arts but not outside of the human condition.

TY NIKO

Ty Niko is one of the top emerging artists in New York City. Born in New Jersey, Ty is known for his intricate mandala-style linework inspired by Middle Eastern architecture & design. He makes many of his canvases by hand carving a variety of wood mediums.

GIANNINA GUTIERREZ

She is a resident artist at ArtSpace P.S.109 in East Harlem. She was born in Barranquilla, Columbia & raised in Queens, growing up as a first-generation immigrant.

CAVIER COLEMAN

As an African-American, Cavier redefines the meaning of “multi-media artist” with an expansive skill set in a broad spectrum that includes: oil paintings, music, art installations, photography and graphic design. His artistry exhibits the influence of Pablo Picasso and Jean Michael Basquiat, but his paintings are easily identified by a distinct style that remains unmistakably Cavier.

LANEY DEGRASSE

Laney is a Houston native living in New York City with appearances in magazines such as Galore and Cosmopolitan. DeGrasse is easily seen as an established model. However, the extremely down-to-earth model is currently in pursuit of a different dream. Regarding her own art, DeGrasse discusses how her inspirations are drawn from one simple entity: life.

Will Brighton is an Armenian-American artist who immigrated with his family to Brooklyn, New York in the early 1990s.

Jay Gittens is a self-taught artist who describes his vision & expression as Pop Abstraction. Through the efforts of his mother, he emigrated to Brooklyn from the island of Grenada in 2003. Love Child's work is strong and a true study in tactile energy.

Flash Fong is of Chinese descent & even though his parents have been extremely supportive of his endeavors, he recalls slight reservations when he mentioned his passion for liberal arts. Using everything from mixed media to acrylic & spray paint, he describes his work as “colorful, energetic, and infinite in possibilities where vibrant abstractions invoke one’s aesthetic senses.”
